  1. Pandaravadai:

This temple is about a kilometer distance from Vazhuvoor.
The temple belongs to Raja Raja chola period.

Main deity is known as Kailasanadhar. The temple is an old temple of 1500 years. They have recently renovated the temple and it looks new. To reach the main sanctum we have to climb few steps.

We see separate sanctum for Ganapathy and Subramanyar inside the compound, as we go around the temple.

  2. Thirupampuram:

One of 275 Siva Devara sthalam. The place is about 7 kms from Peralam.

The temple has a Rajagopuram of three storeys and two prakarams.
Main deity is Swayambu Lingam known as Pampureswarar and his consort Vandarpoongkuzhali.

Other deities seen in the temple are Raja raja Pillayar, Murugan, Sooryan, Thirumal, Pancha Lingam, Nalwar, Sani Bhagawn, Adiseshan, and Thiru Navukkarasar, in different sanctums.

Nagarajan and Adiseshan worshipped Lord Siva of this place and hence the place is known as Pampuram, and Lord Siva as Pampureeswarar.

Ananthan, Vasuki, Dakshan, Karkodan, Sangpalan, Kulegan, Padman, and Maha Padman worshipped Lord Siva here.

Purana says Adiseshan worshipped Lord Siva (Two Kalam) and was blessed. One can be relieved from Sarpadosham by worshipping Lord Siva of this place.

Thiru Navakkuarasar sang hymns on Lord Siva of this place.
