  1. Thiru Valampozhil:



    This is one of 275 Siva Devara sthalam.



    The place is about 5 kms distance from Thiruvayaru , on the banks of the River Kudamuruti.





    The main gopuram of the temple is of five storeys.


    Main Deity here is Swayambu Lingam known as Athmanadheswarar, and his consort known as Gyanambikai.


    Sthala vruksham is banayan tree and Teertham is Kudamuruthi aru.


    Importance is Ashtavasu worshiped Lord Siva of this place. Thirunavakkuarasar sang hymns on Lord Athmanadheswarar
